  • 3 large ripe bananas (about 300 g, peeled & mashed)
  • 120 g unsalted butter, melted
  • 150 g granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 5 ml vanilla extract
  • 250 g all-purpose flour
  • 8 g baking soda
  • 2 g salt
  • 60 g chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 60 g chocolate chips (optional)

Method
 

  1. Prep oven: Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and line a 22x12 cm loaf pan.
  2. Mash bananas: In a mixing bowl, mash bananas until smooth.

  6. Bake: Pour batter into loaf pan. Bake 50–55 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
