  • 2 large chicken breasts or 4 thin cutlets / chicken tenders
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika optional

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp milk optional
  • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs panko or Italian-style
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan
  • For frying:
  • 4 tbsp olive oil or neutral oil
  • Caesar Wrap Filling:
  • 6 cups chopped romaine lettuce washed + dried well
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing store-bought or homemade
  • 1/3 cup shaved Parmesan
  • 1/2 cup croutons optional but viral: extra crunch!
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes optional
  • Wraps:
  • 4 large tortillas / wraps
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan or mozzarella optional

Method
 

  1. Step 1 — Prep the chicken: Slice chicken into thin cutlets or strips. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  2. Step 2 — Bread the chicken: Set up breading station: flour, eggs, breadcrumbs + Parmesan. Coat chicken: flour → egg → breadcrumbs.

  3. Step 3 — Cook until crispy: Pan-fry in hot oil 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (74°C/165°F). Drain on paper towels.

  4. Step 4 — Make Caesar salad filling: In a large bowl combine chopped romaine, Caesar dressing, shaved Parmesan, and croutons (and tomatoes if using). Toss lightly.

  5. Step 5 — Assemble wraps: Warm tortillas slightly. Add Caesar salad filling in the center. Slice crispy chicken and add on top. Add extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • Secret for crispiness: make sure the romaine is very dry (wet lettuce will make the wrap soggy).
