Ingredients
  

  • 400 g 14 oz sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: red pepper flakes fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Step 1 – Prep the Steak: Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.

  2. Step 2 – Heat the Pan: Heat olive oil in a hot skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Step 3 – Sear the Steak Cubes: Add the steak in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes without stirring, to develop a crust.
  4. Step 4 – Flip & Cook:Flip the cubes and cook another 1–2 minutes until browned on all sides but still juicy inside.

  5. Step 5 – Add Garlic & Butter: Lower heat, add butter and minced garlic, and stir to coat the steak cubes in the garlic herb mixture.
  6. Step 6 – Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve immediately with rice, potatoes, or a fresh salad.

Notes

  • For best results, use sirloin or ribeye for tenderness.
  • Do not overcrowd the pan — sear in batches if needed.
  • Adjust garlic to taste: add more if you want a stronger flavor.
  • Add a splash of lemon at the end for extra brightness.
