Ingredients
  

  • 600 g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 40 g all-purpose flour
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 100 ml honey
  • 60 ml soy sauce
  • 30 ml rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
  • 5 g cornstarch
  • 30 ml water
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Method
 

  1. Coat the chicken: Toss chicken pieces in flour, season with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook the chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Fry chicken 6–8 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  3. Make the sauce: In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add honey, soy sauce, and vinegar. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
  4. Thicken: Mix cornstarch with water, add to the sauce, and stir until glossy and slightly thickened.

  5. Combine: Return chicken to skillet, toss until coated in sticky honey garlic sauce.
