  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • Honey Garlic Sauce:
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger optional
  • For Cooking:
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • For Serving: (optional)

Method
 

  1. Prep the salmon: Cut salmon into 1-inch cubes. Pat dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and cornstarch. Toss gently to coat.

  2. Make the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, sesame oil, and ginger.

  3. Heat the pan: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the pan or salmon will steam instead of sear.
