Peach Iced Tea – Refreshing Summer Drink

A refreshing homemade iced tea infused with ripe peaches, black tea, and honey. Perfectly sweet and fruity, this summer drink is easy to make and tastes way better than store-bought versions.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe peaches (sliced)
  • 1 L water
  • 3 black tea bags (or 2 tbsp loose leaf tea)
  • 3 tbsp honey (or sugar to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

  • Medium saucepan
  • Fine strainer
  • Large jug or pitcher
  • Stirring spoon

Method
 

  1. Boil the water: Bring 1 liter of water to a boil in a medium saucepan.

  2. Steep the tea: Add black tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes, then remove them.

  3. Add peaches: Add sliced peaches to the hot tea and let them infuse for 10 minutes.

  4. Sweeten: Stir in honey while the tea is still warm until fully dissolved.

Notes

You can replace honey with agave syrup or sugar. For stronger flavor, let the peaches infuse longer before straining.
